Globally, mothers are faced with the challenge of resisting the misleading standards about their appearance, performance, and embodiment of motherhood. With the "unconventional" mother on the rise and the role of mother quickly changing, HerSay is taking a moment to acknowledge the trials and triumphs of motherhood that yield, undoubtedly, a model of love.

We are on a search to find 5 unique mothers with 5 compelling stories willing to engage in a docu-series that permits the lenses to capture the sides of motherhood once unspoken and unseen. In exchange, each mother will be gifted a professional photoshoot that will be integrated into our Mother's Day Experience on Sunday, May 14th at The Lighthouse Church of Houston.

• Single Mom: Single moms raising children independently or with limited support

• Bonus Mom: Mothers who have assumed the position through close relationship, court assignment, or blended families

• Mom in Mourning: Mothers who have experienced the loss of a child(ren) - stillbirth, tragedy, terminal illness, etc.

• Mom Redeemed Through Intervention: Mothers who have conquered addiction or reentered society after being incarcerated

• Mom Overcoming Infertility: Mothers who have once struggled with infertility and overcame the obstacles
